The client

The Barmy Army – England’s loyal and highly vocal cricket supporters club – is known across the world. Founded on the 94/95 tour of Australia, the Barmy Army has been supporting the England cricket team for well over 20 years both at home and abroad.

The project

The Barmy Army is a subscription-based supporters club which has morphed into a travel agency and ticket bureau for England’s matches both home and abroad. Their previous website didn’t have the capability for expansion into these new areas nor did it reflect the professionalism of the organisation into which it has grown.

The solution

We worked with the Barmy Army to design and develop a bespoke ticketing solution and e-commerce store which enabled the client to grow their client-base and increase sales of merchandise, tickets and tours. Coupled with our email marketing solution, the Barmy Army have been able to upsell their offerings and carry out drip-feed marketing to all their members.
